Center for Nursing Excellence (CNE)
ESDL’s Center for Nursing Excellence has kept  abreast  with  the  latest technologies  that  empower  Nurses  to  impart  hands  on  training  and enhance knowledge to ensure  the  quality of  nursing  practices  through Nursing simulation and  V- SAT.  Simulation  is  gaining  popularity  as  a means to provide  innovative  learning  experiences  and  foster  a  richer understanding of didactic content. Nursing  Simulation  is  a  platform  for excellent adjuncts to  “Live”  clinical  experiences,  reducing  the  barriers associated with clinical Learning.

Simulation  offers  an  avenue  to  assess  clinical  judgment  and  critical thinking  without   jeopardizing  patient  safety.  A simulated experience allows students & nurses to critically analyze their own actions (or failure to act), reflect on their own skill sets and clinical reasoning, and critique the clinical decisions of others students / Nurses.  Educators  can  apply well-founded simulation approaches not only to help students  in  clinical rotations  to  attain  educational  goals,  but  also  to   evaluate   teaching methods, as well as to investigate alternatives to the goals and  methods themselves.   Simulation   provides   a   new  avenue  for  educators  and researchers  to   improve   nursing   education  and  practice  as  well  as advance the field of nursing as a whole.

 Academy for Culinary and Hospitability Studies (ACHS)
Travel has become an inevitable part of today’s life.  People travelling, for business or leisure, expect good service with a smile.  There  is  a great  demand  for  professionally  trained  personnel  in  the  Hospitality sector.  To  meet   this  growing  demand  for  Hospitality  professionals, ESDL has designed special courses which  would  facilitate  students  to acquire internationally recognized Hospitality Qualifications.

With the rapid  growth  in  the  manufacturing  and  services  sector,  the demand for  nutritive  meals,  produced  under  hygienic  conditions  and served efficiently has increased manifold leading to an explosive  growth in the commercial Food Services sector. This sector still remains unorganized and ill equipped to handle the demands largely due to paucity of qualified manpower. ESDL has, for the first time in India introduced short term programs specifically focused on creating qualified personnel for the commercial food services industry.

ESDL also has teamed up with  international  Hospitality  Institutions  of repute  to  bring   updated   content  and  delivery  strategies  for  Indian students to benefit from such expertise.
