Everonn forays into Animation and Gaming Education
At a grand event held at Taj Connemara on 23rd February 2010 Everonn Education Limited established its foray into Animation and Gaming Education through their new venture, Global Institute of Gaming and Animation (GIGA), a business unit of Everonn Skill Development Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of Everonn). Everonn’s Global Institute of Gaming and Animation (GIGA), is the first in India to partner with Maximus, an Autodesk adoption partner for offering full fledged animation degree and diploma courses and also the only animation academy in the world capable of imparting training through virtual classrooms. The students of the Global Institute of Gaming and Animation will enjoy facilities like hi-tech animation, VFX & a gaming academy having iconic faculty equipped with years of experience in the animation field, with astounding ability to train students to be the best in the industry.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Jayaraman, CEO, Everonn Skill, said “Animation training is not just about educating and placing students. We will have to integrate the programs with the industry’s requirements, which is what we are doing at GIGA. Content for all our programs are Industry validated and these programs have been designed after extensive research over a period of 2 years. All our courses are pathway oriented and can lead to graduation. Our partnerships and affiliations are globally recognized”.
On this occasion Everonn also announced its partnership with the Silver Salt Animation Festival (SSAF) 2010, India’s biggest, longest and only short film festival which is completely dedicated to Animation. Everonn will support the festival at Chennai (27th feb 2010) & Bangalore (13th March 2010). Registrations to the one day screening and the workshops will be free to encourage anyone who believes “Everything you can imagine is real”.
